Privacy statement Information given at the time of ordering or when making an enquiry by whatever means is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. It is collected by Senior Bootz personnel. No information collected in this manner will be used or transferred to a third party without the consent of the customer. This policy is overseen by Karen Davies, Director , JB's Ltd t/a www.bootz.co.uk. Title Title in goods supplied by us shall pass to the buyer upon payment of the purchase price in full. Colour Representations Computer monitors and scanners vary in their reproduction of colour. Though we strive for accuracy, all picture colours and swatches displayed should be regarded as approximations. All Bootz products are well known brands, so if in doubt over colour it is suggested that the customer should first check at one of our stores. Prices Orders are subject to acceptance by the company and to availability of goods and will be charged at the prices and the exchange rates ruling at the time of acceptance. Shipping costs will be those as quoted at the time of acceptance of the order unless subsequently agreed otherwise by the customer. Cancellation and returns It is your right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receiving the goods. If the cancellation comes about because the goods are not suitable or do not fit then you will need to pay the cost of postage and the return postage. You are entitled to a refund or an exchange in those circumstances. If the goods are faulty or are not exactly as described then you have the right to request in writting a refund of the postage and return postage as well as a refund or an exchange of the goods. Refunds and Returns As already stated if the goods are faulty or different from those ordered, customers will be given the option of a full refund plus return postage costs. Refunds will be made within 30 days and reflect the method of payment. No refunds will be allowed when the goods are simply the wrong size or are not as expected, unless those goods are returned to us within 7 working days in the same condition as when they were sent. All goods must be checked for shortage and damage upon receipt and any shortage or damage must be indicated on the delivery note at the time of delivery. Any claim in respect of the above should be made by telephone to the JB's General Store Ltd within 7 days of the delivery (+44 01446 772340). Credit will not be given for goods returned without prior agreement from JB's Ltd, The company reserves the right to recover carriage and handling costs when unauthorised returns are made. Please return your receipt or a copy thereof when returning goods. No claims will be entertained unless the above conditions are strictly adhered to. Your Guarantee The foregoing in no way affects your Statutory Rights and all goods offered by the company will meet the obligations under consumer protection laws including: The Sale of Goods Act 1979 The Supply of Goods & Services Act 1982 The consumer Credit Act 1974 The Trade Descriptions Act 1968 The Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the 1999 Regulations The Consumer Protection Act 1977 The Data Protection Act 1998 The Consumer Protection ( Distance Selling ) Regulations 2000. Complaints It is our express intention to deal with you complaints confidentially, fairly and speedily. Please endeavour to let us know of any complaint within 7 working days if at all possible. If you have a complaint or any other query please advise us in the first instance by telephone to +44 1446 772340 (8 am to 5pm, calls at standard local/national/international rates as charged by your telecom provider) or by e-mail to enquiries@bootz.co.uk We will endeavour to advise you what to do to resolve the complaint and we will do that within 5 working days.
